Luckily, there were very few mishaps, the shrink plastic was much sturdier than I had feared, and I quickly found I could do just about anything with it. In the face of my desperation, my fear of shrink plastic vanished and I found myself making item after item in no time. Once again my yuletide procrastination had left me scrambling for an easy, quick, inexpensive way to cobble together some cute, thoughtful gifts in about a week. I, on the other hand, had never used Shrinky Dinks and was, therefore, understandably hesitant. I told her to go for it, she’s a jewelry genius and I had no doubt she would be able to make some truly amazing pieces. In this window you will see 2 values, a height and width value, beside this is a pull-down menu with 2 options, pixels and percent. This will begin to record all the actions you take so it is important you follow this tutorial as close as you can.įirstly go to the"Image" menu and select "resize" (or press Shift=S). Then back in the "File" menu click on start recording. Open an image, any image, it doesn't matter. Ok, leave this menu for now we will come back to it.
